Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

KM head of VBG out?

Is this true? How confirmed is it? If true, this means VBG and VCG could be combined going back to 1.0

@aq in three years, McKinsey will recommend VZ split from combine to consumer vs business and have markets for more localize support. Accenture will come in a other 4 years and recommend it to combine it for efficiency. Retainer business. Broken clock. Thank you come again.

@aq I’ve worked with McKinsey on projects in the past useless firm that gets paid ridiculous sums for sub par work.

Great. So we went from Wireline + Wireless to VCG and VBG likely on the recommendation of McKinsey or other consultants who got fat money, now we're going to go back, likely on the recommendation of some consultant (probably the same firm that recommended 2.0) who got fat money.

Same with going from regions to centralized back to markets, now back to centralized again.

You can't make this stuff up.

Must be great to be a consultant: wherever the pendulum is, just recommend it swing the other way and get paid.
