Foothills mall owner: Macy's will leave Fort Collins in March

Whoops, the company prefers to let you work yourself silly up until Christmas and THEN let you know that your store is closing. Don't spend a lot on gifts if you are in a neighborhood store, there are only handful left and Jeff said the company would be closing 10 stores on his last update to investors.

Just the first of several closings of old neighborhood stores that will be announced in January. This one slipped out early thanks to the real estate company and the mall property owner. The employees found out about the store closing by reading this article, how sad that the company can't manage the information and process for closing stores better.
