@a6 Well he did get two of Shank's direct reports- JG being one of them.
@aj It looks like it was a company-wide email...came from the same source as the email announcing the hiring of Franz from PayPal.
Don't read too much into not getting it (if your an employee) though. It's routine for the news outlets and EVERYONE else to get the scoop on what's happening inside Verizon before any of the employees hear about it.

So far, confidence levels are not high. The only thing different that the board of directors is doing is that they are doing stupid a lot faster then they had over the past 5+ years.

@a2 you should never feel 'safe' in any company. All companies change all the time, so get used to it....
It's embarrassing and NOT the type of company I feel safe at.
