It’s worth enough because the chipset itself is specialized to use niobium so Microsoft something there that will be used probably later. That’s the big picture for me. Niobium in the chipsets. Not many are doing this or even have the capacity to try.
Does anyone what PS will do now? does he plan to comeback to juniper?

"sold to Microsoft for $190 million despite raising more than $300 million in funding since its incorporation in 2015"
well, all employees at Fungible are F'ed. What a waste of money and time.
They are "fungible" enough to sell for a low price than their investment. Truly Fungible.
Thank you for the update.

Microsoft Corp. has reportedly scooped up a Santa Clara maker of data center chips and storage devices for a relative bargain.
The software giant paid $190 million for Fungible Inc., according to industry news site Blocks and Files and the SemiAnalysis newsletter. The deal came after Fungible tried and failed to raise funding and attempted to sell itself to Meta Platforms Inc., analyst Dylan Patel, who broke the story on Monday for SemiAnalysis, told Blocks and Files.
"Microsoft, at first, was considering a custom silicon deal with Fungible, but … instead decided to acquire the company, employees, and (intellectual property) at a low price."
