The OR redundancies were mostly fab techs, which will enable the company to have less managers, the stated goal.

Face it, the fabs are still to this day, way overstaffed compared to any other foundry.

Gonna take many rounds of small-scale layoffs to clean up the excess capacity which was a core strategy of IDM1.0

Badge Flipping will also happen but that is just a bandaid, to getting the staffing to a level which can be justified by revenue.

I thought they said managers will be laid off, but it seems to be just engineers on the list.

I heard more will come from Folsom, and there's a plan to eliminate the majority of fully remote workers, with the exemption of sales.
