I'm concerned about the treatment of ex-Poly employees in this situation. While the bonus provided to them might be seen as a gesture to keep them happy, it raises questions about the fairness of the company's approach, particularly in light of layoffs occurring concurrently.

The timing of the bonus, paid with the last paycheck of the calendar year, suggests that it may be related to performance and financial outcomes. However, if layoffs are happening at the same time, it can create a perception of inconsistency and inequity. Employees who are let go may understandably feel that they are being treated unfairly, as they are not receiving the same bonus that their colleagues are.

Moreover, the pay increase going into effect with the first paycheck of Q2 of the HP calendar implies that some employees will benefit from this increase, while others may no longer be with the company due to layoffs. This further highlights potential disparities in treatment.

In such a situation, it's crucial for the company to address these concerns and provide clear communication to employees about the reasons behind layoffs, the criteria for receiving bonuses, and the broader restructuring efforts. Ensuring transparency and fairness in these processes can help mitigate dissatisfaction among employees and maintain trust within the organization.

My understanding is Poly employees will be included in the next year’s cycle. Nothing for this year
