Amazon is going after a younger, and likely more affordable, talent pool by limiting entry level software engineering positions to students and recent grads only. Appears to be part of an effort to overhaul its slowing engineering culture. Not cool. Also not legal but we'll see how things pan out

Most of the development in Amazon is product focused. Developers are just writing APIs, and they are encouraged to AWS. You hardly use any CS fundamentals. All you do is write code to fit into the framework. You don't need experienced engineers for this. Amazon know this, so they are hiring new grads, who you can pay less.
Book smart over experienced. I have seen that disaster before.
Every other company in USA and Canada does the same...and once they hire only NEW graduates and students locally...they will transfer ALL other jobs OUTSIDE the Country!!!!!!!!!!! OOOOOPS
Hey it's their business...and they do what is legal!
As long as the internal RULES allow them to transfer MOST of the work outside the country they will do it! ...
Why NOT?!
Can you blame them ?! NO - It is their business and they'll do whatever it takes to get higher and higher profits...
Who is to blame?!
Why are they allowed to transfer MOST of the work outside the country while here ALL prices are going up on daily basis and people are losing their jobs, their houses, families, etc...
