The word you are looking for is withheld. Not taxed. It will be taxed as regular income.

I did. I assumed taxes would be taken out but when I saw the amount come in, I was very concerned that the amount was much lower than I had expected. I found out, at least when combined with the state of CA state taxes, the IRS pulls a little more out to where it ended up being around 40% total taken out of the total.
