Current Estimated Potential (CER) and High Potential Talent?

CER - Understand the process only applies to JG2+, but curious how it works and is realised in one's career. What does someone's CER score mean for future mobility?
Curious about perspectives amongst this audience.

Also, High Potential Talent is a 'mark' that enables certain candidates to apply for specialised "tests" roles, usually involving strategy work. I understand being selected as HPT is very difficult, occurring only after two subsequent years of a "higher" rank. Curious for more details.

As an aside, I have come to believe it is very, very difficult to be ranked as anything other than strong.

CEP still exists for JG2 and higher. It doesn't really mean anything unless you aspire to a LC (letter category) or SEG (executive) role. For example, f you are a JG1 and want to go for a JGA, but your CEP isn't LC or higher, it will be harder for you (but not impossible). Otherwise... doesn't mean anything.

High potential is totally different, and is really something you are nominated to (very early in career) by management and could potentially open up some possibilities for you... but only if YOU pursue them (like applying for the MBA program).

Does CEP still exist? Who has access to your CEP? Does anyone know how this works?

I got higher for at least two years in a row and I don't remember anyone calling me HPT.

I am also a JG2 but I haven't seen anything about CEP. I only had it back when they used to do it for all JG5+.
