More layoffs coming tomorrow

We've been told in APAC sales that layoff emails will be sent around lunchtime tomorrow.

2nd round came out shortly after midnight. Ridiculous, spineless. These team stayed up till midnight year end to help close sales and 2 days later they get sacked!

At least the wait is over. It was a long month waiting and knowing something was coming.

Best of luck to everyone this week, and remember, it is just a blip, and you will be working again if you are unlucky this week. Life is for living.

Is there more of a focus on APAC layoffs this round? Is it meant to be all orgs, or sales mainly?

I know of a few AU employees that were let go at the start of Jan, so wondering why there's more talk of apac this time around.

It’s lunchtime or mid morning AU time because it’s COB US time. They prioritise EOD US.

Leadership deactivations happen the day before. Usually because they’re not playing ball with ES.

Heard from multiple others in mgmt that AMER is Friday morning. I've not heard anything specific but SVPs have started prepping some managers for Friday.

January was the longest month.
The void of information has taken its toll on the morale of a lot of people. And the process has been badly handled.

It is a lesson in how not to handle layoffs. And of course this is just the start. With the new investors, expect more.
I wish the best this week to everyone, and please take care of your health.

I think we are all on some spreadsheet and decisions already made

I think it's lunchtime tomorrow so will.i.am has time to get to the office and perform his farewell dance and song routine that MB organized.

Australia here. I’m hearing 1pm tomorrow but also emails to be sent at midnight tomorrow. Have heard of a senior executive in ANZ who got the axe today. Everyone in sales waiting anxiously.

lunchtime would be a VERY odd time for SF layoffs... Are they bringing security to escort emotional people out the door? Why not just freeze them out first thing... Sus intel
