But yet, some will Still have the Opportunity to be issued some bonu$. That category will still be considered for $omething - even if it is " significantly less," but for the lower positions, it appears to be a "maybe next time?!"

Maybe the less convoluted "ask" should be presented as such...2u made a profit, so spread/share the wealth.

Cause at the end of the day, no matter how you classify profit sharing, there is still that hard line drawn between wealth sharing in relationship to how the company did. Aside from salaries or raises, which apparently the "c" suite, upper management, and then "all the others" all get paid, the matter is that Only upper management still remain in the "maybe." Not cool!

Bonuses don't have to do with the individual meeting expectations, but merit increases do.

Bonuses have to do entirely with how the company performed during the 2022 year.

Unfortunately, 2U did not have the best year which is why Bonus pay may be off the table (or significantly less than before).

If Anyone has met their criteria for a bonus, they should receive their bonus.!
There should not be a dividing line that separates "meets qualifications" vs "meets qualifications, oh, and you hold an upper position in this organization - therefore you (uppers) receive your bonus, but others ( lowers) - who've also met criteria - do not?!

Your "agreement" concession to start. Doesn't equate to mu$h!
From there, I suppose the same ideal of the C suite, and the like, having the possibility of receiving a bonus if "criteria is met, "but the possibility of those not in upper management not having an option.
So, if the C/uppers also Will Not receive a penny in bonuses, then I guess they can chime in to share their thoughts on how your words of agreement (not receiving a raise vs not receiving a bonus....cause tho$$e are 2 different things) may be comforting to them.
My guess is that there won't be a need for a certain portion of 2utes to chime in about not receiving any bonus. All that's standing in their way is "meeting the criteria!"

What doesn’t pay the bills?

Yes, bonus "decisions" is an interesting read, indeed. Not so much the if/thens of how they are "earned" and then issued. More so the notion that they get to remain on the table for the uppers but, maybe next year for the lowers.

On your other point, pertaining to raises, agreeing is nice...still doesn't pay the bills. SMH.

I was just talking about bonuses. You can read the bonus structure for all employees on 2Universe. It includes how the upper management bonuses are decided.

Raises are a whole other thing. If raises aren’t happening that is fu---d and we can agree on that.

(Relatively?) humble sounding sentiment for the "regular working Ute." Just grin and bear it....back to the churn you go. I wonder, tho, if the Executives bonus/raises are affected much, or even at all? And if All of the upper management, along with all members of the C Suite do not receive a single penny in bonuses or raises this year?! Well then, I guess we All can chant together "well that sucks, and I hope it does next time."
Only, the likelihood of the beat going on and on for said group of utes is typically the case. Yes?!

Oh you mean the employees who are already given incredible benefits, decent pay, and the ability to work remotely for the most part? 2U does a lot for us.

Bonuses are never guaranteed here. Sure, I’d like a bonus (who wouldn’t?) but I also don’t rely on it. If it happens, awesome! If not, well that sucks and I hope it does next time.

Share with All of the Lower level individuals who churn on a daily basis to achieve all of upper levels' goals. You know (or then again. maybe you don't know - or care?), the ones whose direct results being what brings in the income for two u.?! The ones whose very bonus' are in question of being paid this year!!? Recognize, k?!?!
