Thread regarding DST Systems layoffs

How’s the blue prism integration going?

Just wondering how BP is liking their new home. Let’s integrate with AWD…

Yeah the "milktoast" sales rep at DST from the Securities Transfer System announces he has a great new job with Innovative Software in Lenexa. He "knew" the owner. He got a going away party, then left and was back at DST the next day. Seems he didn't understand that he DID NOT get a real job offer. It was just an initial interview and salary ranges were lightly discussed. Nothing firm. What a knucklehead. How could anyone be so ignorant. Then DST took him back (big mistake) and he ended up 4 years later in corporate sales! Cause DST was too cheap to say hire a salesperson away from say IBM. Amazing stupidity

Sales at DST? What sales? Lack of sales is why DST didn't become a world leader, gobbling up its competitors and becoming a household name worldwide. Its the sales staff DST has. In the 1980's it was a women who chewed and smacked gum in front of clients and staff, she could work parttime, fulltime, whatever she wanted and had nobody to answer to. She just booked tickets and hotels to the nicest towns in the USA and claimed she tried to meet potential clients. Oh and her husband worked at DST in a manager's role too. She was fast and choppy talking, rude, interrupted people mid-sentence and wore 1960's clothes, in addition to being unattractive and a CHAIN SMOKER. After her, a guy from Securities Transfer System that failed at his job as a client services rep (he destroyed a new client DST converted and didn't train its staff at all) got the job a Senior Sales Associate. He was milktoast and couldn't fight his way out of a tissue paper bag. He didn't even know how the system worked. Oh and his wife was a supervisor at DST. So there were only accidental sales at DST that happened just due to the odds of things taking place without human effort. DST would never hire top sales people away from competitors to grow. DST = Dont Stay There

But BPM will come back, yes it will live again. The BPM market is expected to grow to 26B by 2028... The sales people should be crushing those AWD deals.

Sort of like trying to sell AS/400 hardware to companies in today's market. Nah, you don't need dat cloud thing, you need your own hardware that's 30 years old... oh wait, AWD is 30 years old...

Would suck to have to try to sell that cr-p.

AWD now that is some overpriced garbage! And how about that Contact app? Integration is a joke; add your tables and stored procedure to the db? Yeah that’s maintainable, not! These fools will literally do anything for a buck.
