VCIP invite included ominous phrase "discuss upcoming changes to VCIP"
Doesn't look good. Any ideas on what's brewing?

Total Shareholder Return, the company’s stock performance vs peers for the year.
What is TSR?
For reference, COP scrapped the BU award units years ago and it’s now the same across the board. Next year, they’re even getting rid of the TSR component since it’s not really in their control when compared to ops, safety, etc.
Eh, remains to be seen. They're getting rid of the business units and making everyone have the same VCIP, with the caveat that they can still adjust +-50% at a site on a discretionary basis. Which frankly sounds like the same system, but maybe the RLT spends less time every year rounding up metrics for VCIP...
So were the changes bad?
When is the town hall?
With everything that’s happened in the last year, a better question would be why would we not assume that the changes to VCIP are going to be bad for us. It fits in perfectly with their us against them philosophy.
We assume the changes are going to be bad because we don’t trust them to do the right thing and they’ve already done some bad things to a lot of people.
Why would you assume changes are going to be bad?
They don’t have time for VCIP. They’re in a hurry to get back to laying off people.
Interesting that the town hall is only 30 minutes, though.
I don’t trust the ELT about anything as far as I can throw them, but they do make small changes to VCIP pretty often so these changes probably won’t be too bad.
I'm betting they'll add BT as a category in the calculations.
