Lord Krause - 5days in Office or be Fired!

GEM message was clear during his marathon stage pacing the hybrid work model will no longer be accepted therefore a target is on your back. Why? Lord Krause said he's mad at employees since they've not taken RTO serious enough and expected our own return during Q4. Now we must be punished like Mommy Dearest beat her child with a wired hanger.

Lord Krause decreed either Return To Office 5 days a week or be FIRED! Well what's included if you return 5 days? Well then, you can earn promotions, 2nd half of your 2022 bonus currently being held hostage, cannibalize your peers thru stack ranking, but wait there's more, you can earn Grant Cardone's 10x multipliers and earn beyond your wildest dreams. If you can dream it then my TK elite team will do all possible to make it impossible to earn.

To the poster about the snacks. it's a shame appears regular maintenance of our snack rations are being ignored. Chips no longer have air and lay flat I'm surprised we still have K-cups in the building. Even the vendors restocking appear to have Krause's fear instilled in them and it shows how they stock, when they stock, cleanliness of their stock.

All those that reluctantly RTO will merely do the bare minimum required just to stay employed. Productivity will further decline in the coming weeks and months.

My assessment: there is no carrot or stick that makes TK's policy successful. He failed to influence change in Q4 2022, and he's already on track for a repeat in 2023.

Why? He fails if he fires independent-minded high-performance employees, and he also fails if he is able to threaten timid employees to comply with his RTO mandate.

It's essentially a fail-fail strategy.

Unpopular opinion, the RTO numbers were kind of damning (if they're true, I have some doubts).

It's a test. Just pass the test, reap the benefits. I don't expect this policy to be strictly enforced forever, and I hope managers will offset the strictness of the policy in the short-term.
