Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

"INSPIRATIONAL" , "EXPERIENTIAL" and "NEIGHBORHOOD" doors

Can someone tell me what's truly happening? I was told that there was no longer a "neighborhood door" yet it still shows up on Our VISUAL MERCHANDISING DIRECTIVES. ...all the trolls on here, pls don't put your negative comments and speculations. I just need to hear some type of answer from people who are still employed by Macy's.

Inspirational stores = highly elevated assortment in A+ malls

Experiential stores = basic assortment, run down low volume stores in C and B malls

As of now there are no neighborhood doors. They will now join the experiential doors.
The visual execution guides are not updated yet, because these stores were not bought the same equipment or collateral.

Once this is figured out, the name will be dropped

Of course there are still neighborhood stores. You can tell by the title of the store manager. A neighborhood door store manager’s title is “General Store Manager” as opposed to Store Manager.
