I really don’t understand moaning about RTO when the offices are being closed.

"'TK can simply say 'either RTO or you're fired'.' - Understood, and I'm really okay with wearing my "CSG-Rebelion" badge of honor. Krause doesn't scare me.

Frankly, being fired is better than the alternative (being herded into an office with the other timid flock of sheep). No thank you. Do your worst, TK, I'm ready."

Excellent attitude. F him. He makes Elon Musk look like a beloved leader.

"I'll agree to RTO if I get a guarantee that I'm on the next layoff list (with severance). Makes no difference to me if I'm doing nothing productive in the office or at home. I just want out of this pitiful job and company ASAP. "

I appreciate the sentiment, but what is your leverage? It's not a negotiation. TK can simply say "either RTO or you're fired."

Is sharefile BU required to RTO? Or just Citrix BU? Anyway I am not going back.

BTW, my manager is of the same mind. It's all about delay tactics from here on.

Just get a remote work medical accommodation. Your doctor will sign off on anything and if you get the paperwork signed off from a doc, Citrix/CSG won’t question it. I have 4 coworkers who have done this to go around RTO. But take this route just in case the swine known as TK tries to fire people for not following RTO.

I won't return for the following reason. I believe that TK is bluffing. There are already exceptions to the mandatory RTO rule, as previously confirmed. So, why should I care?

Mr. Krause read on LinkedIn or in Fortune Magazine or something that tech workers were getting laid off and that the job market was in the employers favor so they could push us around again. He seems to think that we aren't a company that makes work-from-anywhere software and that we all want hybrid/remote work because we're a bunch of spoiled millennials rather than because that's how this company has worked for decades. Well we have news for him. The boomers that retired and kids that quit over the last two years aren't coming back! He was sold a bill of goods! Lied to! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
