The Tampa office is going down the drain. They have hired so many transgenders that I was afraid to use the bathroom. I quit after more than 20 years.
CA has a no layoff clause....
For all positions? Nobody knows unless you're part of the bargaining unit. Where are the details
You Calif boys get to work and quite f'eing off!

Why would there be more need for CO techs in central and northern CA than in southern California?
They don't. The forced aligned victims will go if they want a job, then, through seniority or under the "agreement" with the union will be laid off. Ask the splicers they realigned in 1993-1994 from the California desert to mid cities. Promised their jobs and after a few months I saw them walk out with pink slips.

For California, it’s been identified with the cuts to DSL many cuts are coming. Whether it’s a Customer Service Technician 1, Equipment Maintainer or SEI you will see one technician cover multiple CO’s. Causing a ripple effect State wide. Watch for force realignments to start hitting by the end of the year in the CO’s. Many CO workers will be displaced as DSL/VOICE orders fall to an all time low. Look for many CO techs in Southern California to be realigned to various Central and Northern California CO’s.
If Verizon wireless can sell off all their towers to American Tower then lease them back. No reason Frontier couldn’t sell the CO’s and do the same. Lots of real estate they could offload
What do you mean? You always need a CO somewhere
