Day to day market has little impact on planned reductions. Any labor RIF of size has been in motion for months. Stack rankings completed, Management scrub of how many and how much completed. Reviewed by HR/Legal for legal exposure. HR/Finance/Legal build separation payouts, etc. HR and upper management prep communication plans. When Mr. Dell says, pull the trigger, the system starts rolling.
