Asked my manager today after the numbers came out if we would have more layoffs this year. He just laughed.
2023 is going to be brutal. Maybe this time next you you can say "the worst is over."
There is a reason why Intel has changed so many CEOs in the last decade or so. Entrenched satraps who are so strong that they can arm twist any CEO even if they show a slight amount of weakness. Intel needs a CEO who is desperate to succeed and will go any lengths for that, even if means sacking 100% of his/her direct staff.
