no one wants to go to school for many years and then get treated like cr-p by a dl who barely graduated highschool and cannot read or write.
The staff rph working 32 hours a week are being cut to below fulltime so no benefits... they aren't closing to leave, their hours are being slash...these are current rph employees losing hours due to these cuts... thats not a shortage..that's a slaying of your workforce
For those saying no pharmacist shortage, do research. Yes much of the current problem is pharmacists going to hospitals and such, but enrollment i pharmacy schools is down 33% making this a problem that is not going away anytime soon. It was the same way when I started in the 90s with CVS its a cycle that we are beginning again.
100% there is enough pharmacists out there. People just literally refuse to work Retail and especially for Cvs.
Theres no real shortage of pharmacists, they are making it up for media. Pharmacists just dont want to work for these retail companies no provide no support.
Shortage of pharmacists?? First I’ve heard of that reason for reduction of hours.

What about the Front Store?
It’s happening across the country. No pharmacy is safe.
What area of the USA are you for this to occur?
