Boeing died years ago. Just holding of on the wake until CEO and his gangsters bail out later this year with the last of the juice.
Taxpayer industry assist is what it really is. Even with the funding from NASA not sure Boeing can right the ship.

NASA would have been better served giving this contract to Airbus...just like the USAF would have been better served giving tanker contract to Airbus. Corrupt politicians...and Boeing is now headquartered in DC to keep them well fed.
NASA would have preferred to give SpaceX this money and contract...because SpaceX gets things done fast, at low cost, and very well...but SpaceX doesn’t do airplanes...yet...
Airbus's only competition going forward is COMAC. This Boeing green stuff will never see the light of day and is just for stock hype.
