Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

2022 4th Quarter Report

All dismal expectations as had been posted by people in the know here are now confirmed...amazing! But rest assured that the stock will keep increasing in value because bs and hype trumps reality these days.

Guess you didn't hear last year's secret recording of CEO saying they can no longer compete so plan is to just slog on to 2023.

What’s really scary is when you look into the details of why their performance was so poor. They had to lower the price of the 737 to compete against airbus and it is no longer profitable to manufacture. They are claiming by increasing the production rate that they will become profitable again, but they ignore the their declining orders versus the 321. They’ll never be able to sustain the increased production due to lack of orders. And the increase in production can only happen when you have a skilled workforce people are leaving the aerospace industry through retirement and career change. People are tired of the constant layoffs, and want some thing reliable.

It’s only a matter of time before they ask for a government bail out. The company needs to fail.
