What is the Conduent severance package?
How many weeks?
What is the Conduent severance package?
How many weeks?
Odd that they became so generous once the current senior leadership’s tenure is (or should be) drawing to an end.
I was at Director level when I was let go a couple of years ago and I only got 4 weeks of severance so if Directors now get 52 weeks that is a big change.
By the way I was a working Director as opposed to an ivory tower Director so that might be the difference.
The executive severance package is 52 weeks for Director and above.
How could you pay so little in severance and claim any type of people related accolade. Give me a break, this says it all!
At 18 years, 4 weeks would come to just a little more than 1 day of pay per year!
ONE DAY of pay per YEAR
A half decent company would pay you at least ONE WEEK per YEAR
A good company would pay you TWO WEEKS per YEAR.
Conduent is the SHT OF SHTS
4 weeks is better than 2 but still sucks. And that is IF you train your offshore replacement.
For 10 weeks or more, YES
For 4 SHOVE IT!
Conduent is “ out of touch “ the pay raises are below average and most of the projects are losing money because conduent low balled to win the bids in the 1st place
I worked for nearly 17 years and received only 4 weeks.
From my package:
Answer: Based on the current Severance Policy, which can be found in ConduentConnect under HR Policies &
Related Forms, Severance payments will be based on Years of Service. Eligible Employees will receive
one (1) Week of Base Pay for each Year of Service the employee completed, up to a maximum of four
(4) weeks of severance. Under this Policy, the minimum severance amount will be two (2) weeks for any
Eligible Employee with less than two (2) Years of Service completed at the time of termination. Payments
to an Eligible Employee shall not be made for more than four (4) weeks, which is the maximum payout
under this Policy. The current severance plan offers benefits according to the following schedule:
Yea... someone told me that it is now 2 weeks maximum.
I believe it. They can't go too much lower than that, but then again this is Conduent.
I haven't worked there for a couple of years, but I remember it being pretty terrible then.
One week for every year you've worked there, capped at a max of 4 weeks.
I knew someone who worked there for 17 years before getting laid off (not specifically Conduent, but the company Xerox bought before) and she only got 4 weeks because of it.
Might be different now, I don't know.
