A few months ago, everybody was talking about quiet quitting. Suddenly, nobody is even mentioning it. I wonder if those who were so proud to proclaim they were giving it their minimum realized that that might not be the best way to go if they wanted to save their jobs. All it took for them to drop their superior attitude was a few layoffs.

This post would make a lot more sense if Intel's layoffs were based on performance. Unfortunately, that is not the case.
I considered quite quitting a while ago to combat Intels "quite hiring" they've been doing in MFG.
It becomes sole destroying very quickly doing the bare minimum, so now I just work to fulfil my job role description and dont take on the work of other roles.
I now also have a side hustle for my work satisfaction.
Really? Do you think that work morale has boosted during mass layoffs? Most people can't even concentrate on work now.
Factory manager came and told us our org/site will not have CPM action, so now I'm doing even less work because no fear of layoff.
Or. Quiet Quitting is nothing but management speak BS.
All the good fruit in the cafe must be doing this quiet quitting
So, maybe they've reconsidered because mass layoffs are affecting the entire industry making the job market much more competitive?
