Why does the work go outside Canada (to other "Worley" offices), if the job openings are listed in Canada, the company is accepting CVs/Resumes in Canada, conducting interviews in Canada, ...but then the hiring is done outside Canada...
Seems like the work goes outside Canada once a project is awarded...?!
Anyone else?!

This is old but I’ll comment since I just found this website. I once got hired for a job that was CREATED for me. The recruiter was based in Canada and job posted in Canada, but the position was in US. I assume it was done this way so that a hiring post in the US wouldn’t be required (i.e. no interviews required). This was a long time ago, and I’m sure I’ve missed some steps in the process, but likely the same today.
I used to work for Colt Engineering before it got bought by "Worthless" Parsons.
I knew something was up, because it didn't make sense to buy the biggest Engineering company in Alberta, and I speculated they would offshore the work. I didn't realize how on the nose I was with that prediction.
The irony, they are now worried about Indian Engineering companies competing for Canadian Engineering projects.
These are the same people WorthlessParsons Trained!!!! What did you expect would happen? They formed their own companies and now they are your competition. Thanks a lot "Worthless"Parsons.
It's a real shame. Colt Engineering (and many other engineering companies) were ruined by WorthlessParsons.
I sure hope there is a wave of nationalism takes over Canada and keeps jobs here.
Keep voting for Globalization folks. Not only will YOU not have a job, but neither will your children.
