Thread regarding Moody's Corp. layoffs

Will the layoff wave hit Moody's too?

Do you think Moody's Analytics is a safe company to join, given the current layoff scenario?

They are restructuring, several team members have been impacted by layoff and was told that this was across the board. They had a meeting and was talking about expense cutting even though they had “record profit year”.

I was laid off and I had a stellar review. They’re restructuring. Got rid of all DEI messaging my advice always be looking for a new job be interviewing. Know your worth and go. MA wants to work ppl harder than ever b4 so I estimate ppl are gonna quit too. Not a great place to work rn.

Same. My direct boss didn’t say anything in the 1 to 1 meeting one week before even emphasized that we will always have our jobs and wrote me to say “Congratulations, significant milestone” when I reported I completed my training program several days before. Then, he used the time of the 1 to 1 to announce the contract termination with HR.
Even if I try to contact him, he cut the contact and doesn’t answer anymore.

As already stated you won't know until it happens. You will have a meeting with your manager on a Thursday saying that all is well and you are doing great, then get a meeting invite from his boss two days later and find out you are being laid off.

Enjoy the ride until it ends.
