Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Is this true?

The other big policy change is that managers are allowing high-performers, those considered to be skilled talent at risk of leaving CSG, to "unofficially" be allowed to continue to work from home indefinitely.

Meanwhile, all other CSG employees will be forced to return-to-office or be terminated. TK acknowledged that a two-tier policy is required to retain the best employees, while those merely awaiting a severance package don't require any special treatment to stay.

Taken from @btu+1kOgszBh, I'm wondering if this is true?

I was the top perfomer of my department and I was separated just because I am not in Fla and unable to go to an office..... they are just leaving people that are in Fla and those working remotely is because they worked a transition plan to be permanently in the office in the future...

This was always the case and never applied to the enterprise team. Local corporate employees it's up to your manager.

I was told I had to come in to the office. Fine. But no one else comes in…also, as it turns out, I’m the only woman on my team, so what’s up? I’m scared to bring it up to my manager….not in this environment…I need my job….

If you're planning on sticking around at CSG, get used to this "the best and the rest" model for how employees are treated. I suspect you're going to be seeing a lot more of it.

WTF. I’m in Fort Lauderdale and I was told to go back to the office or else face consequences. So, some people get to work remote even though they live close to our physical offices? How is this fair????

How would this work if someone works in a state with no office (NJ)?

TK doesn't want the remaining most qualified and essential talent to leave. Cutting costs is still a priority, but not at the expense of making it impossible to run the business or eventually sell the BUs.

Of course, it's true. To every official rule, there is an unofficial exception that supports the goals of the business. TK is clearly single-minded on this topic, but not to the point of self-harm.

Yes. I was told I can continue working from home despite living in Fort Lauderdale. I was also asked to keep quiet about it.
