What is the policy on usage of flexible holiday? Are you able to work 40 hours and also use a day for flex Holiday on same week? I have been told by a coworker that they were able to before. When I tried using a flexible holiday but ended up having to also work 40 hours that week cause we were busy, someone from payroll in corporate, not from my store, took away my Flexible holiday. Isn't a flexible holiday a day that is given to you and should get paid for on whatever day you choose to take it.

Ge-z someone's getting 40 hrs. At my store almost no one is. If you get 30 -34 you are doing good. Im full time been here 30+yrs am getting 28 hrs.
You can only do 1 flexible holiday per week and if you work overtime/over 40 hours they can cancel your PTO or flexible holiday. Before they were more lenient and a lot of ppl would put in PTOs and work also and get overtime but now they are more strict cuz they are not making money I guess. So you cannot put in any type of PTOs if you are over 40 hours.
I'm not 100 percent sure because these things are above my pay grade, but my understanding is if you want to use anything that'll bring you over 40 hours it'll be declined but you can have them open a case with HR for you to get it.
Others more in the know can correct me if I'm wrong.
