I hope that those who are laid off don’t think that they are too good for a potential new company. Keep all options open. The Google brand name is becoming commodity like every other company out there

Nobody thinks like that unless the said new company is law balling them. Most googlers feel burned out and wants a new change anyway. Something with less pressure. The problem is most companies do not pay like google and offer the same amenities. Once you are used to a lifestyle, it hard to live with less but they gonna have to
