I got notice this morning - L4 TPM just joined less than a year ago. Did all the work they gave me thoroughly. They say give time to settle in - still let me go. Shocker .. life moves on starting job search now. Feeling Sad.. they talk so much about google culture no chance to say even goodbye to your team :(

@tol+1kMtC469 I've got news for you, corporations in the real world act this way all the time...welcome to Adulthood no mater how late it comes. Use the time to learn and grow within reality, then as you rise in your career, do all you can to not ever behave this way as a leader.
Get over it and move out of your parents basement, cry baby.
In a way, it's a classic corporate repercussion to Great Resignation, Quiet Quitting, WFH activists.
At least a severance package. That's good money. Sorry to hear that you have less than one year and that is not enough time to build a relationship to save your job!

This should completely damage their reputations, not only are they all acting in unison (in contradiction to the free thinking and culture they claim) they are hiring and firing so fast with so much free cash flow since the pandemic.
I suspect either earnings are diabolical, or more likely they have been given marching orders by the powers that be to help reduce salary inflation.
Big tech is acting all in one on this.
