It has to be a very tough decision. Samsung cut production too; gross margins are bound to increase. 2H should be better. Smaller companies are hiring. Perhaps the cuts could rather be right shifted to the end of CY23; attrition situation would be lot clearer then. We don’t want to miss the uptick in demand, if doers are not there to ramp up production or take product development to completion and successful rollout. The Syracuse mayor is establishing an office to monitor our investments there. Perhaps teams could be offered to shift there to meet investment targets there, as an alternative to layoffs. Great people and teams in the company. Hope we don’t loose people to the competition, especially for hard to gain skills, and can attract and retain good people.
