Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Anyone know forsure?

I was told by fellow Mgrs that used to work for BBB and now work for Buy Buy Baby that their truck drivers told them the stores that are not getting deliveries will be the stores that are closing. We haven't had real any deliveries in over a week other than few FedEx deliveries, makes no sense to close our store since we just were remodeled.

YES!....I know for SURE! (just kidding). Silly question because of course NO one other than top brASS would have ANY idea, and they sure wouldn't blab anywhere about the exact details now would they?

Trucking companies are cutting them off too for nonpayment. Just another nail.

Bankruptcy is going to be used to close EXPENSIVE stores!! They don’t care about remodels or sales anymore. If you store costs too much to run it’s gone!! I heard a rumor a BIG store in Massachusetts is on the chopping block. If true the company is RIP because that’s the #2 store in the REGION!! But the price to have a store there is astronomical. So this is their way out. Smaller stores in cheaper locations that do little to no business will be SAVED while the ones that make money will shutter. It makes no sense UNLESS the company is strapped for cash…which is exactly where we are!! Unfortunately when sales fall further it will only become worse.

Liquidate the damn thing.

Like I said, due diligence. And you actually think a Teamster gives too craps about leaking information, eh? Bulletproof.

You sound like a meme ape having a bad day but hey, we'll see. How do you feel about that day trader referring to you as Degernerate the other day?
I have a really low opinion of you vultures as well. You are con artists who got conned yourselves.

As a publicly traded company the last person that would know would be a truck driver. The only ones who know are WAY up there as they can’t let it leak or it could be considered insider trading.

Hate to flog the horse on this but Orland was one of the first remodeled and one of the first to go. It never mattered.

No one is safe remodel or not . That is the word on BBB side inventories cancelled ,2 reason can't afford to have RGIS do it and they sure don't want the real number of what's in the stores rather what is not. And yes drivers are saying there are very little deliviers to go out. Just a back this up a little the logistics mgr for mid atlantic was released a week ago . Draw your con clousions from that
