Notice any changes to formerly disengaged colleagues since the layoff announcement?

Noticing colleagues who were never available suddenly become more engaged. Hoping the “I’ll admit I WFH for only 2 hours day” or the “I have 2 jobs” employees are impacted during the next round before those of us that are truly working
