I don't remember the atmosphere ever being worse than it is now. I don't intend to spend the coming months thinking and worrying about whether I'll be targeted by layoffs nor will I be trying to do do my best, because some of the best employees have been cut.
I really don't understand how they can expect productivity from employees who are under this kind of pressure? The work here is not worth this much stress. I'm sure everyone can find much better job than this one here.

Layoffs ki-l employee morale, especially when done in waves. When in waves, it becomes Russian roulette. If not you this round, it may be you the next round. People's hearts would be wiped out and all they can focus on is survival.
Totally agree . The way some of the hardest working groups have been treated is shocking
