[How do you write hundreds of words about layoffs and not actuality say "we fired some people"? Instead we have "changes," "impacts," "conversations," and "tough move." Are we really saying that some of our colleagues were conversationed yesterday?]
Pretty sure more happening this week. Managers told not to discuss any details so the ELT can control the narrative in the all hands meetings.

These email messages are so tone deaf. All of the reorganizations, layoffs, travel bans etc seem to have done nothing. Meanwhile, the ELT team jets around the world "cutting costs" and improving little.

Their "growth strategy" for over a decade has been selling off parts of the company and outsourcing work done by people with domain knowledge to cheap contractors.

It was cool that the profile of the email was MF for “Message From” instead of DW. More appropriate though.
Eight colleagues were "conversationed" last week. Why? Who knows? But I am guessing not a single exec will be cut by an "impact to roles".
Don’t you think they do this to keep the constant layoffs out of the news? Afraid if affecting the reputation and stock price. Thoughts?
I guess I'm just frustrated with how chickenshit TR always is with these things. I'm told this constant obfuscation around layoffs isn't normal at other companies.
