It's annoying how little transparency there is about this whole thing.

It’s around 700 people let go.
I was called in for a meeting on my day off. Huge red flag right there. Got told about massive cuts across the company, and some stores wouldn't survive at all. 10 people apparently cut including myself. I was full time with almost 8 years of service.
It saddens me a company that touts transparency is not being transparent at all.
When asked in the meeting “can you give us the total count” our VP said no I cannot give you that information. Ridiculous.
We were promised information by Friday. That has passed and we still don't know how big the cut was, or when the next round is. Kinda sh---y
Right? This whole thing is shady. I wasn’t laid off, but I don’t want to work for a company that can’t communicate after what it did. I am not upset about the actual layoffs, I’m upset about how it was discussed (rather not discussed)…so I’m searching for other jobs.
