Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Nominations please !!! Which so called leader will bail first?

Voluntarily or not, which one of these geniuses at VP or above will exit 1st in 2023?

So many do nothing VPs to choose from. Unfortunately, they all think they're doing something meaningful but everyone knows better.

Don’t look for the useless diversity hire running marketing to get dumped. Too woke for that.

HA may be the front runner to get the boot with all the RG bashing

NC, HA, JW are fine choices but recently promoted Engineering SVP and VPare also right up there .

The SVP inherited the engineering team as a hold over from the StackIQ acquisition. Basically was in training on the job, spineless, and a pass thru on all decisions. Never supported the people in engineering and easily brushed aside by more politically savvy peers. As usual, incompetent people hire and promote other incompetent and entitled people to secure their position and make them look good. The recently promoted VP did nothing to warrant a promotion, except being there and playing politics, and it rolls down hill. There is no trust or respect for either one of these through the engineering ranks.

NC for sure. On so many levels he is the worst and that’s saying something since HA and JW are really bad too. He’s a waste and has accomplished nothing in the time he’s been here. What’s different about our strategy than before he came? We are flushing tens of millions down the NC/McKinsey drain. I hope this does not hurt his feelings but it’s true.

I love sarcasm, but sometimes it doesn’t translate on messaging.

I hope NC, our CSO stays; His SKO presentation was soooooo brave; how he overcame his struggles and bravely dealt with that horrible travel agent. He has given us clarity in the strategy we have not had in years, and everyone loves working with him. True leader and inspiration, if the rumors are true, our next CEO!

AY. Man has the personality of a dead fish and is only waiting for some RSU's to mature before leaving. Good riddance to bad rubbish

If any one of them left (or all of them left) the effects would be:

  • - no one would care/notice except for the immediate lower level
  • - the business might actually improve because of the wakeup call
  • - if any were to leave it would mean the Board might actually be semi-functional

Otherwise, "meh"

They really need to clean out the useless Directors first. Which is most of them. The “Leadership” team will milk the cash cow as long as there is cash.
