Massive Layoff this Wednesday morning?

All being kept really quiet and compartmentalized. No one really knows who and how many have been told they will laid off at US corporate. Only very highest levels and their new direct reports were shared. Cross team work? Disaster. You have to ask anyone you need to work with if they still have a job since know one knows or will say. I get privacy but now it’s chaos. All anyone knows is the reorg was very big and top all the way down at least on the tech side.

What they shared on Friday 3 VPs we're let go with a nice severance package.. my team absorbed some people, but have not heard anything else.
ATT VPLs were let go company wide.
I saw on LinkedIn a senior manager, UX lead, and two product managers were fired.

Super weird that no one is talking about this among my teams…managers, leads, nothing. I have a feeling this short meeting on Friday won’t bring much clarity either
