Anyone know which stores were told they are closing in the last couple of weeks?
That's funny store mgrs keep quiet lol. It's already out probably from some of the Corp mgrs and dms let go last week . Old rule if you want something kept quiet don't say it to anyone. So now there is more uncertainty than before. Personaly at this point with nothing going in a positive direction for chapter 11 go chapter 7 and end it .
And what's up with the zipline message regarding supplies? Now we are not going to be able to get supplies? How are we supposed to operate our stores????
200 closed by end of fiscal 21
150 more said to be closed by end of fiscal 22

Something has to be said before Feb 1st as that is when they will be forced to pay all the interest they owe. Besides the fact everyone knows CH 11 or worse is coming (just the fact BBB mentioned it will deter vendors from shipping anything) soon there are no vendors that will ship any merchandise knowing this. The longer this goes with no word of CH 11 the more likely it is going to full liquidation and closing up shop.
So managers have been told to KEEP QUIET about new closing stores until Bankruptcy papers are filed. Probably within the next two weeks (end of month). So these stores won’t be told until the paper is official…because its part of the Bankruptcy restructuring.
There will be closing sales. It could be expedited but that’s TBD. Again NOTHING official until the papers come.
@1sqz+1kJvGCOE, how soon will these stores find out their fate? For instance my store was told both, no more freight and no inventory. Which leads us to believe we are one of the earlier closing stores but have not been officially told anything.
There are 120 stores closing on top of the the last of the 150 announced earlier. Their inventory was cancelled and told there in bound freight was canceled. All parts of the chapter 11 plans. They will quick close… 30 days or so. 50-50 if the company can orchestrate a chapter 11 may end up a 7. Just another page in our slow death.

If you are in any store under the BBB umbrella you will be closing sooner rather than later. This is the best, most accurate list to go by.

If you were Just told this weekend you are closing there’s a NEW list coming. This was supposed to be a 3rd (and final) wave but it could also be bankruptcy windfall.
The news will come out in a few weeks. I don’t know how many but it sounds like it could be over another 100!!
To those that survive THIS cut. I wish you the best until March/April. Bankruptcy court will be a b***h!
Stores were told last Thurs & Fri. 12 dms were let go and 4 executive support managers
Not sure a new list is officially out . Last one is the 62 that were already there .
