I've heard from my cousin who's an L7 that they're choosing people based on a very specific algorithm. They pop peoples names on a dart board and throw 3 darts, if 2 darts hit the same person they let 3 people go who have the same last name as that person. Its as feasible as some of the rubbish that's posted on here!
There have been rumors about this in the German office for a week now, lets hope for the best

OP sounds real confident in that percentage 🙄. Why even post this if it’s “possibly”. Sounds like speculation. At this point, two days before the probable RIF, if there is a RIF, there’s no “expecting” or “possibly”. There either is or isn’t.
If this is true; Kate gulliver and Niraj need to step down.
If anything it would be 30% of just the corporate workforce, so half that number.

What’re you basing this off of? Whats your position in the company? Where are you getting this 30% figure?
I’m sure there will be a layoff on Friday but blindly speculating on the size isn’t helpful unless you show some credibility. For the record I’m an L2, I know nothing and I’m nervous.
