Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Do you remember the golden years?

For those of us who have been in this company a bit longer, I think the hardest thing is having to observe the quality of employees and work here nowadays, which is no longer as important and valued as it used to be. I feel nostalgic, but also a little sad because I think that those golden years will not be repeated here.

These are the Yellow Years, as in when management p!sses all over everybody below them. The worst human beings you'd ever want to meet in real life.

Golden years? You are taking about when Nokia ruled smartphones and hardly anyone is left. No one has made real money on stock options since the Nokia days… but that should also tell you something… all these people stayed at Q knowing the place was no longer innovative…..

Here is the problem! New talented workforce does not join, or leave the company early when they run across old farts who only know how to play politics. Qualcomm is not a good place to work anymorwm! Cut this corrupt old fat and you will see young talent joining again.
