Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Tell me what you want...

Hey all, I know how much you all are committed to Macy's. It shows in your posts. Breaking up is hard to do. I wish we were making up instead of breaking up again. IN-N-Out starts at 19.25 an hour and doesn't suffer from yearly layoffs. If you're looking for a real commitment, you can make six figures easy as a manager. You are your biggest obstacle thats keeping you from making a better future for yourself. Either grow or go. You hold the power.

If I can hide in the stock room for 1 hour and get paid, Macys it is. If I can take a 30 minute break and 2 hour lunch, Macys it is. Who wants to be micro managed at In and Out?

Lol, the responses turned out exactly how I thought they would. The people on here would rather sit in misery and complain about how things are getting worse than try to better themselves. And if you read through the comments, I did suggest that they pick other options. Hopefully that high horse that those of you are sitting on talking about how you'd rather not flip burgers doesn't buck you off to hard. It took Macy's decades before they were willing to pay all of their employees the same across the US and only did that because they were forced to. IN-N-Out has being paying above minimum wage since at least the early 90's. Oh and don't worry, you'd start off cleaning bathrooms and dining rooms first. The burger flipping is for those who show they can actually work as a team. Somehow, 100k a year doesn't seem appealing to anyone on here.

The responses didn't turn out the way that you expected, did they? 😂
Maybe next time give other options besides flipping burgers, I mean that sincerely

Haha this is great. You wouldn't smell like grease, you'd smell like onions & burgers. Second, choosing to work somewhere that the customers can't manage to grasp that they might have to wait 20 mins to pay for an item over customers willing to wait their turn definitely sounds like the more logical option. If not burgers & fries, there are plenty of other options out there as well. Seems like you might not be happy anywhere though. Best to stay with something familiar. I'm sure there's a win in there somewhere for ya.

Macys does some kind of mind-fu-k that makes it impossible to leave.

hmmmm no opening macys high interest cards and trying to force people into it?
hmmm. no long hours of dealing with macys crummy customer base?
hmmm being work to sheer death then ask to come back early with no rest or food inbetween?
hmmm poorly manage stores with a cult like atmosphere
dealing with AP calling everyone the "N" word in the booth while blasting rap music then breathing down your neck for every little thing..
hmmm where do i sign up to be a burger flipper?
