Several stores were told this past Thursday/Friday that they weren’t going to receive pool deliveries for an unknown amount of time. Said that the company is redirecting freight to high volume stores. Didn’t confirm if these stores were closing or not.

As with all other vendors, trucking companies/logistics companies are not being paid and have cut them off.
Can definitely relate to the last poster. In NJ we have lost all our money makers. The busiest stores are gone, yet they keep seasonal stores open where they don’t make enough to cover payroll….go figure
There is some talk on other sites that BBBY may not be able to pay the logistics companies as well. Not vouching for that. Can remind you that high volume stores have dropped like flies in the Chicago area in terms of vulnerability.
Four of the stores in our area notified that they won’t be getting freight. Hmmmm…. One is the high volume store in the district.
Which stores are scheduled to close?
So the company basically leaked the next round of closing stores when they sent the inventory postponement email to the store inboxes. Fantastic.
Did any other stores that were on the list get notified that they were closing yet ?
"How are stores going to get merchandise?".........Petty cash, and run over to Costco?
You probably are. Got the same call last Thursday. Then our inventory was canceled and just got the call today that are still will be closed in a month. Good luck to everyone out there!
How are stores going to get merchandise?
The email went to the stores email box. Not just the SM
Our store where inventory is “waiting to be rescheduled” is still getting freight. Info went to supervisors email box as well as store manager.
Are these emails only going to SMs or to the supervisors' shared inbox?
A lot of suppliers aren't touching BBBY's talk of bankruptcy with a 10 foot pole. They've been have been burned so thoroughly before and after bankruptcy with assurances of being a "priority vendor" and lines of good news! we have debtor-in-possession financing in place. Toys R US did it. There was Fry's, Sears, Payless Shoes, Sports Authority, etc. Since all these, vendors have gone cash in advance without trade credit, stay away, go bankrupt themselves. It's a big problem for BBBY, who hasn't been paying them either.
Established guys won't send them goods, some poor supplier in Indonesia will get fooled thinking BBBY is a great American company what a jackpot. TJ Maxx, Ross, Big Lots, Five Below and their customers are pleased as punch getting goods at huge discount.
And yes these stores also received said email of inventory being rescheduled until “further notice “
The question is, do these stores coincide with the stores with “rescheduled inventory”
