Thread regarding BP PLC layoffs

When will BPX change its mid management leaders?

These RE and PE managers are under qualified and are super toxic. Some of the VPs need to go too. The morale here is atrocious. Everyone knows it. It doesn't take much to know who the key players are that cause so many problems. They have put under qualified people in these positions because of their gender or nationality.

Some of these people don't know what the heck they are doing. Others get promoted because of who they are related to.

I'm so done with this place. I'm out of here and I'm moving to a place where I'm appreciated. I was told I'm being paid well but the truth is that they under pay and there is no career advancement opportunities unless you are buddies with the id--ts making the decisions.

They just overpaid for a trash gas company and the stock price sucks. Get out while you can still land on your feet.

This is disappointing to hear. Are you suggesting DL and the countless BRGs are generating a toxic feedback loop where folks are rewarded, or penalized, based on the color of their skin or their gender? I am shocked to hear this 😎. I am now questioning our strategy of overpaying for assets that generate little to no cash flow with the ambition of generating perceived value. I would rather donate our money to homeless shelters and Republican politicians where I can see a positive difference made on society vs virtue signaling. On the layoff front, this is inevitable as we will continuously see more qualified “majority” employees being let go under the guise of equality. Unfortunately this does not lead to increased profitability or value, but a toxic environment as you highlight in your note. Hopefully McKinzie can craft a solution to address this for BL and his cohorts.
