Wonder how many Altera users will be looking elsewhere for employment after Perez’s brutal call today./

Execs who are no longer around screwed the Sunrise team with SunComm which was supposed to stand for Sunrise Community Model.
How can it be called and marketed as a community model solution when it runs standalone and is too complex for the tiny hospitals that bought it.
Cerner has a true community model which leverages shared components to keep the cost down.
Maybe Harris should actually have done due diligence on the pile of cr-p they bought.
They screwed up and now want to sc--w the employees and customers.
Nice business model.
I am tempted to file a hostile workplace claim.
I agree with the last statement around "no real work experience" but that just not for the young/new. In development there are people holding positions with zero to wrong type experience. Product lines reflect this.
No one is leaving because the good ones have already left....with some exceptions. Who is left are oldtimers waiting to retire, young kids who have no real work experience outside of this place & a mix of folks who complain - on here - yet still stay. It's like nothing I have ever seen. Not only did Harris get duped by a failing company, but they seemed to have been duped by a whiney employee base/culture. WHOA!
No one is leaving. They are all sprinting to a scrum with agility! Perhaps the solution is thrice-daily all-hands "stand ups" where everyone can explain what they accomplished since the previous call. It sounds like Harris really had no idea what they bought.
Wonder if their goaĺ is to encourage more employees to leave.
Could employees file a harrassment complaint after this kind of talk?
LOL! "Best practices." Back in the day implementations worked because good people were trusted to do good things. Once "Buzz Word Bingo" and "methodology" came to town, the whole structure started to collapse.
MP: "So consider this my line in the sand that says you need to abide by the best practice, you need to follow leadership. You need to dig in and do these things. We ain't asking. We're telling you this is how it's done. If you can't do it, by all means, raise your hand and let us know you don't agree with how we believe implementations should work and we will politely write you a very nice recommendation letter on your way out the door"
Care to share some specifics? Sounds like a classic.
You knew it was going to be bad when he didn't start with a military service or basketball anecdote.
Meanwhile Allscripts is doing great. Heard they changed their name.
Great morale booster (if not giving any annual increases wasn't bad enough) to blame the implementation staff for all things wrong with Sunrise (it seems we are not allowed to say SunComm any longer). But, Roberta got a promotion out of the cluster. Harris protecting their own? I suspect lots of people to be updating LinkedIn and resumes this weekend.
