Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Citrix disrupt23 commercials

On social media several videos of CF and SM are passing by. And I wonder do customer still believe the cr-p those guys are telling and selling.?Especially SM who messed up several product lines its unbelievable he is still there and running a BU.
CF nothing but kicking in open doors and trying to sell you old wine in new bags.

Citrix is trying there best to keep themselves relevant by a cheap shot marketing campaign.
Dear customers don't fall in those traps spent your budget wise.

With the bullsh-t around microapps dead I'm sure it'll be back to basics. Not sure if getting into Disrupt and waiting for the oohhs and ahhs as they show a desktop session moving between different devices is going to cut it anymore to be honest. TK is right about one thing.....

Leadership and management missed every boot in the last 8 to 10 years, starting with EFSS, MDM, UEM, ZT, Etc

Every technology whas used to try to keep CVAD relevant.

"Its been 2.5 years hence, and nothing to show for on CVAD or the new Workspace. So who's been sleeping at the wheel?"

Not to mention that if there was ever a time to shine and innovate in enabling "hybrid work/remote work" it was the last 2.5 - 3 years! Look how much AVD has evolved compared to CVAD. Look how many other RBI and SSE/SASE and ZeroTrust products exploded when Citrix's were left behind. I think they missed the last boat to survival island there....

Highly doubtful that CVAD number of users have grown in years. Now its soft underbelly is completely exposed to AVD and new substitute technologies that obviate the need for CVAD but for the extreme use cases. Lack of vision is but one of many missing attributes.

Yes, the original "intelligent" workspace was the ELT's doing and SM had to clean it up in 2020, culminating in the ELT shake up. Its been 2.5 years hence, and nothing to show for on CVAD or the new Workspace. So who's been sleeping at the wheel?

How exactly did SM mess up product lines, OP?
CVAD never stopped growing. That is the one he really controlled.
The Workspace mess can only be blamed on other ELT Stakeholders.
