Any thoughts on simplifying the store name to appropriately scope down product portfolio? This could send a bold message to Wall Street that the company is laser focused on delivering exciting products from and not beyond core competencies. Never got the “beyond”.

What they should do is bring baby stuff into the stores. Daily customers come in looking for baby merchandise that’s on the website. With the low inventory of merchandise and the ridiculous flexing of the same product in 20’, it would be easy to take a quarter or more of the stores and turn it into a baby department. Bed Bath & Baby!
BEYOND was/is everything available online.
Poorly executed e-commerce and in store technology coupled with disastrous in store merchandise decisions tanked this company.
Stock buybacks drained away all the cash that gave any ability to recover from the mistakes.
A bunch of highly paid retail experts ruined a multi billion dollar company.
Tragic!
A name change?
Too late to matter.
spoken like someone who’s never been in a bbb, especially recently; there is no ‘beyond’ anymore, beyond was the as seen on tv stuff, the sports throws and merchandise, the tervis tumblers
if you wanna gamble, go to a casino, stop messing with the stock market
Wait until the meme brats catch on to the Stalking Horse concept. There is already one on reddit who reckons it equivocates to "takeover". It does not mean that at all. It means being first in line to drop a bid on assets and trying to set a floor price. It essentially means jumping the line and making sure TJ Maxx does not get ALL the My Table stuff, or whatever ended up there. And that BBBY will not be subject to a lower bid. Oddly enough, naturally, the hint of this was dropped by corporate leak. The same people who are pleading for employees not to leak on reddit.
This company would make a good comedy. Don't do what WE are doing, associates!
Change the name to “And That”
Before 2018 we had CRT registers that dated from the 80s in 53!
The difference is LNT and Pier1 had current technology whereas BBB's tech is rooted in the early 90's. They can't go strictly eComm without spending tons of money they don't have. They will just disappear.
Meme brat. For them it's Beyond Reason.
🙄 Uh, ok. I'll humor you. The store you speak of already exists. It's called Linens N Things. It too had brick and motor stores like BBBY, but it tanked and closed up shop just like Pier 1 Imports. Now both exist exclusively online.
If BBBY miraculously pulls through, they might eventually find themselves to be an e-commerce entity as well.
WTF Are you serious? The company is hanging on by a thread and you think a name change is going to save it?
