IT Director with Devon? Do yourself and everyone of us a favor and find the person that made this god awful pipeline map data and give them the boot, no one in the DBBU even knows what size the pipe is.
I have no college degree and no work experience, but I have a ton of certifications from Google and others. I start my new job as IT director on Monday.
Certainly not all these data managers and IT people supporting us. We would be better off hiring a consulting firm and letting them move on to their next opportunity. Time for a quick chat.
It's not like the DEGREED folks have done Devon many favors for several years. Why not try a new approach?
In fairness, it's the college educated that have run Devon into the ditch.
A much wider talent pool awaits my friend. Lack of a degree is not a reflection of one's intelligence or skill set. Finally corporate America is seeing the light. No degree = lower pay. Keep the costs down. Some jobs certainly need a degree, but not all, which is where we find ourselves today.
