The mass layoff is going to start in January. Only lifers and loyal employees will be retained by the company. Talented employees will be let go and a white county club will be formed.

If past behavior is predictive of future behavior, they will lay off again around the middle of the year. It will be a more silent layoff.
And yes...long time employees and management (i.e., the ones who got the company into this mess in the first place) will keep their jobs while new talent (and I mean it when I say "talent") will be let go.
Thats usually the case with them. Everyone above director level is stained white only.

Wrong, the majority of the layoffs are in the US and not the Philippines or India offices.
