@3bnn+1kDxog2b a very large number do and are target related from inside to outside to specialists and beyond. Jack up those targets and KPI's and the numbers fix themselves.

You obviously dont work here. LOOK AROUND YOU do you see everyone saying how insane the targets have become? That even pulling in crazy huge business means you are still only taking home half your comms? That is how they do it. 20% payroll reduction through comms reduction even with growth in sales, then resignations that are not replaced.
this isnt a mystery. its how they keep staff that want to stay when everyone else is doing layoffs. Cant repeat the same card trick all the time, run out of cards, but we did this many times over the past 14 years

I didnt say there wouldnt be staff leaving, but there would be no layoffs. The model is to reduce the salary so that people look elsewhere (normally the highest earners), thereby eliminating the need for layoffs and VPS payments. When 60% of a sales team walks out sure you lose a tonne of relationship and knowledge but you dont see that in the books. Goodwill and relationship and knowledge dont count. Just dollars

@ntz+1kDxog2b do you actually know who our major stock holders are? They dont look at staff reductions as cost savings, they look at $$$
It will happen guaranteed they have to show the stockholders their cutting cost because of large reduction in revenue.
If they out source field support there will be plenty of folks being let go.
What services does dell provide that requires them to have a large workforce?
most departments are running thin already since the 1 year hiring freeze and attrition i dont know how they can afford to lose people
